Adapted from Joekenneth’s written memoir, Days After Your Departure is an audiovisual experience chronicling the author’s journey to define himself after losing his mother to a years-long battle with cancer. Shortlisted at American Black Film Festival’s 2018 HBO Short Film Competition, Days After Your Departure can now be viewed on HBO’s streaming services (HBO GO, HBO NOW) and partner platforms (Amazon Prime or Hulu).
